Viola R Garcia

Garcia, Viola R Age 80, a resident of Albuquerque since the mid 1950's, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012. She was born in Ault, CO on May 13, 1931, the daughter of Abencio and Esquibula (de Aguero) Romero. In 1993, she was preceded in death by her husband Placido. Viola is survived by her children, Lorraine V. Clifford of San Diego, CA, Patricia G. Chalus and husband Keith of Phillips, WI and Raymond Anthony Garcia and companion Donna Gutierrez of Albuquerque, NM; granddaughter, Katarina Intermont and husband Joshua of Albuquerque, NM; sisters, Dolores Arellano of Springer, NM and Roberta Ortiz of Denver, CO; and brother, Frank Romero and wife Diane of Corona, CA . A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2012 at Queen Of Heaven Catholic Church on 5311 Phoenix Ave NE, Albuquerque. Mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. A Reception at Daniels Family Funeral Services at 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE will follow the Mass. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Viola's memory to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
