Violet Padilla

Violet Padilla joined our Lord peacefully at home on April 16,2025. She was born in Bernalillo New Mexico on September 9, 1935. Violet was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed tremendously. Violet was preceded in death by her son Dennis Padilla, her parents Fidel and Carmelita Chavez, brothers Fidel Jr., Archie,James, and sisters Flora Chavez, Theresa Garley, and Josie Montoya. Violet is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Cipriano Padilla Jr., her children David Chavez (Irene), Cippy Padilla (Yolanda), Victoria Garcia (Kevin), Chris Padilla, and Vincent Padilla (Michelle), along with 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and four sisters Stella Perea, Dolores Gutierrez, Shirley Dominguez (Eddie), and Sandy Mirabal (Ray).

Services for Violet will begin with a Rosary Thursday April 24, 2025 at 10am located at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 S Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo NM 87004. Mass to follow at 10:30am. Interment will take place at Vista Verde Memorial Park located at 4310 Sara rd. Rio Rancho NM 87124. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Padilla, Josh Padilla, Fabian Padilla, Vincent Padilla Jr., Natalie Gutierrez, Brandice Ortega, Kirsten Padilla, and Nico Gutierrez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Crystal Padilla, Samantha Mora, Felicia Unale, Armando Padilla, and Jonathan Padilla Jr., and Colene Chavez.

She will be remembered by her kindness, love, strength, and grace. Rest in peace, you are forever loved.
