Violet May Thomas

Violet May Thomas, 62, of Aztec, passed away in Farmington on Monday, March 2, 2009 of a short illness. She was born in Yukon, OK to Charley and Bessie (Reynolds) Duggan. Violet married Lynn W. Thomas in Aztec in 1961. Violet loved to go to yard sales and gardening. She will be remembered by always putting others first. Violet was preceded in death by daughter, Willa Gruette; grandson, Lonnie Gruette; brothers, Bob Duggan and Howard Duggan; parents, Charley and Bessie Duggan. She is survived by her husband, Lynn W. Thomas Sr.; son, Lynn W. Thomas Jr.; daughters, Belinda Welch, Lesa Gruette, Tammy Swanson, and Susie Mc Coy; and sister Pansy Woods. Pallbearers are Lynn Thomas Jr., Charley Roberts, Charlie Gruette, Daniel Gruette, Lewis Gruette, and Neal Woods. Honorary Pallbearers are Mark Swanson and Jared Edgerton.
