Virginia "Ginny" Layton-Dunkin

Layton-Dunkin, H. Virginia "Ginny" Age 91, passed away July 9, 2013. She was born May 2, 1922 in Alton, IL to Roswell and Sarah Edelen. A resident of Albuquerque for fifty-eight years, she was preceded in death by her parents, her five brothers, five sisters and first husband of forty one years, Paul M. Layton. She was married to Doyle Dunkin for twenty five years prior to his death on February 26, 2013. Virginia is survived by one sister, Bonnie Wiseman, daughters, Patricia Halvorsen, Elizabeth Madsen and husband Jefery Madsen, son, Paul M. Layton Jr. and wife Tana Layton. Virginia was blessed with six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren that she loved very much. She will be deeply missed and always loved. Interment will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. A private family memorial and celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
