Virginia Lovato

August 16, 1921 — August 24, 2014

Lovato, Virginia M. Sena Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 24, 2014. She had just celebrated her 93rd birthday on August 16, 2014. Virginia was born in Trinidad, CO on August 16, 1921 and moved to New Mexico when she was a child. She lived at her ranch in Yrisarri, NM with her most beloved creatures, her dog, cats and horses. Virginia loved living in the mountains. Dancing was her passion, she LOVED to dance! Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Joe F. Lovato. She is survived by her two children, Elizabeth A. Lovato of Lafayette, CA and Damian P. Lovato and his wife Terry of Yrisarri, NM; two grandchildren, Shawna L. Lovato of Albuquerque, NM and Tamara J. Lovato of Albuquerque, NM; two beautiful great grandchildren, Azea Carabajal and Trinity Carabajal. Virginia's face would light up with joy when she saw or heard those two playing. Virginia will be missed by all as she was a caring, compassionate woman. She took care of many stray animals in her days on this earth as well as caring for people who needed compassion in a time of need. Virginia will be buried at Santa Fe, NM alongside her husband Joe at Santa Fe National Cemetery. A special thank you to the staff of AMG Specialty Hospital for their understanding, compassion and kindness. At Virginia's request no services will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Albuquerque Humane Society http://animalhumanenm.org/. Daniels Family Funeral Services 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM 87109 505-821-0010
