Peralta, Virginia T.
Age 85, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in Socorro, NM with her loving family at her side. She was born in Escondida, NM on September 3, 1930, to Vicente and Anna Maria Olguin Torres. Virginia was a woman who was strong in her faith and loved her family. She always loved  having people around her and she was always taking care of everyone else. Virginia enjoyed cooking and she loved to dance. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Eluvie  (Louie) T. Peralta; daughter, Julia Ann Peralta; brothers, Lou Torres, Leopoldo Torres, and Felix Torres; sisters, Rita Montoya and Kate Baca; and her parents. Virginia is survived by sons, Ruben Peralta and wife, Lisa, James Peralta and wife, Andrea, Norbert Peralta and wife, Isabel, and Richard Peralta; daughter, Concie Buck and husband, Philip; brothers, Joe Torres, Vincent Torres, Tommy Torres, and Eddie Torres; sisters,  Mary Torres and Elaine Valdez; grandchildren, Sharon Sadvari and husband,  Joshua, Jack Buck, Julia Ann Aguilar and husband, Steven, Stephanie Vega and husband, Mark, Norbert Peralta and wife, Brittany, James Peralta Jr., Jeremy Peralta and wife, Kimberly, Aubrey Peralta, Sandra Gonzales and husband, Duane, Tiffani Peralta and fiance, Joel Partridge, Tristan Peralta and fiance, Eddie Bernal; great grandchildren, Jathaniel Bernal, Aviyah Peralta, Lucas Peralta, Dominic Vega, Jacob Vega, Trey Partridge, Kingston Partridge, Julius Bernal, Kaylee Hall, Gianna Peralta, Ashlyn Aguilar, Alyssa Aguilar,  Issac Vega, Jaryn Gonzales, Jazmine Gonzales and Jayla Gonzales. Visitation will take place Sunday, August 21, 2016, from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm at  Daniels Family Funeral Services - Socorro Chapel, 309 Garfield St, Socorro. Rosary to be recited on Monday, August 22, 2016, at 8:30 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro with the Mass of Resurrection to be celebrated at 9:00 am.  Celebrant Rev. John Anasiudu.  Burial will take place at San Miguel Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Peralta Jr., Norbert Peralta, Jeremy Peralta, Leroy Anaya, Jaryn Gonzales and Benny Anaya.  Honorary pallbearers are Gilbert Anaya and Alfredo Benavidez .  A reception will be held immediately following the burial at the DAV, 200 5th St. N, Socorro.
