Virginia Marie Sanderson Born May 8, 1927 in Shiprock, New Mexico to parents, Nat Curley, Sr. and Ora Lee Curley. Date of death: December 7, 2008 She is preceded in death by her parents Nat Curley, Sr. and Ora Lee Curley; brother, Robert Roger Curley; and nephews, Jason Curley, David and Jonathon (Pogo) Lomayesva, Jr. Virginia is survived by one brother, Nat Curley, Jr. and his wife Angie Curley from Nenahnezad; and sisters, Frances Lomayesva from Flagstaff, AZ, Velma Cleveland and her husband Hugh Cleveland, Jr. from Farmington, NM, and Victoria Hall and her husband Wayne L. Hall from Georgia. Survivors also include many nieces and nephews she loved very dearly. Virginia attended school at the Navajo Methodist Mission in Farmington, New Mexico. She settled in Kirtland, New Mexico and retired after 37 years from the Nenahnezad Boarding School where she worked as a Dormitory Aide. Virginia or "Ginny", as she was known, was a wonderful sister and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was also a caring matron and was known as Mrs. Sanderson to the many children she cared for at the Nenahnezad Boarding School.
Ginny will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on and in our hearts forever. Ginny's care has been entrusted to: Cope Memorial Chapel 458 County Rd. 6100
