Halloran, Vivian S. Vivian Sophie Halloran, 68, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1974, passed away on Tuesday January 24, 2012 at Vista Care Hospice, Lovelace Downtown Hospital in Albuquerque. Vivian was born on April 2nd, 1943 at Sloane Hospital in Manhattan, NYC, the daughter of Julia Eva and John Gerard Halloran. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion, Post 118-Ladies Auxiliary D.A.V. She received the Life Line Award from the Civitan Club of Sandoval County in 1989 for her humanitarian work with that organization. Vivian had an indomitable spirit; she was an avid reader and an intellectual until disability prevented her further exploration of life through her books. Vivian loved animals and her many pets. Most important to Vivian was her family who were always in her thoughts.
Vivian was preceded in death by her father John in 1975 and her mother Julia in 2002. She is survived by her Aunt Marie Gendvil of NYC and by cousins Agnes Gendvil, Marie Mone, Walter Gendvil, Richard Gendvil, Vincent Gendvil, Carl Gendvil, and Sophie Gendvil and by second and third cousins, all of who will miss her greatly.
A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Rio Rancho at 10:30AM on Friday January 27, 2012. Vivian will be interred in Vista Verde Memorial Park��?�s "Garden of Peace, Rio Rancho on Friday January 27, 2012.
