Walter Harvey

Harvey - Walter, 65, passed away on January 9, 2010 due to complications following an automobile accident. Walter was born in 1944 and raised in Rye, NY, and attended Lehigh and Fordham University, among others. He earned several advanced degrees, including a Master's and JD in Tax Law. Professionally, Walter worked at Loral, Smith-Corona, and Hertz in New York City, and served as Treasurer and VP at The Zale Corporation and Gordon's Jewelers in Texas. He moved to Albuquerque in 1993 and taught for many years at University of Phoenix and National American University. Walter had an abiding passion for golf, his beloved NY Jets, and his dogs. He is survived by his wife, Carol; daughter, Dayna; son, Evan; and granddaughter, Auden Rose. On Wednesday, January 13, between 5:00 and 7:00 pm, the family will hold an informal visitation at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel. We welcome his family and friends to join us in celebration of his life.
