Thomson, Walter Irvin

Age 65, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018. He was born in Las Vegas, NM on December 10, 1952, to Charles and Elaine Thomson.

Walter graduated Del Norte High School in Albuquerque, NM. He married the love of his in 1979. They were married for 38 1/2 years. Walter was employed by Lovelace Regional Hospital for 35 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Walter is survived by wife, Joan Thomson of Placitas, NM; sons, James Thomson of Albuquerque, NM and Mark (Cristina) Thomson of Rio Rancho, NM; sisters, Kathy (Car) Dellinger and Candy Paco of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Lauren and Tristin.

Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018  -  at 10:00 AM, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road, Rio Rancho, NM.  

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 11:30 PM, Sara Road Chapel. Reception to follow at Sara Road Chapel.
