Ruch, Wanda Mae Age 86, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Wanda was born in Oneonta, NY where she grew up and attended Oneonta High School. She attended college in Chicago, Ill. She worked in Civil Service from 1963 to 1967 at McGuire AFB, New Jersey; and with the Military Compensation Department at Kirtland AFB from 1968 until her retirement. Her interests included family, reading, and computer technology. She was an avid bowler and belonged to various leagues throughout her married life. She is survived by her sister, Beverly Cumm, Arizona; brother, Frederick Thomas, New York; three children and their spouses, Dave Ruch (Annette), Minnesota; Vicki Rita (Jim), Florida, and Scott Ruch, (Carol) New Mexico; 9 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, CPO George J. Ruch Jr, Navy Ret, who was stationed at Kirtland AFB until his retirement. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20004 or online at www.lung.org. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, October 26, 2012 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
