Waneta L. Jackson

Jackson, Waneta �Nita� Age, 82, passed away October 3, 2013. She was born June 6, 1932 in Kansas City, MO. Nita is survived by her husband of 38 years, George Jackson. She also leaves behind her children Christine Baker; Kevin Jackson; Kathy Edings; Anne Norero; Laura Colon; Mary Rakes; Paul Valdez; 15 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Nita was a Rio Rancho resident since 1975 and a successful realtor here for 28 years. Nita enjoyed traveling to foreign places such as Paris and Rome and her last trip, which was to Israel. She was quick to laugh and enjoyed time with family and friends. Her servant spirit was an example for all. While we all dearly miss her, she is at peace with the Lord now. Services will be held Friday, October 11, 2013 at 10:30 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho followed by a reception at the family home.
