Wardene Lila (Folsom) Mullins

Wardene Lila (Folsom) Mullins, 83, of Farmington passed away Friday, February 12, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. Wardene was born February 5, 1927 in Durango, Colorado the daughter of Pearl Gertrude (Dull) Folsom and Wade Cody Folsom. She married Patrick Lewis Cugnini in 1945 in Aztec, New Mexico. Wardene is survived by her children Duane, Steve and Vicki Cugnini and Gina Hampton; grandchildren Cole Suitt, Becky Cugnini, Chris Cugnini and Kelli Bronson; 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; brothers Stanley, Charlie, and Gene Folsom and a sister Marylou Folsom Folk. Wardene was preceded in death by her twin sister Waydene Conway, a brother Bobby Folsom and sister Geraldine Booker and her later husband Monk Mullins. Wardene loved to hunt, prospect in the hills, sing and write songs and travel. She especially loved playing the piano and guitar and played by ear. Wardene was also a gifted artist. She be deeply missed by all her family and friends. The family is grateful to the caretakers from Basin Home Health and Hospice for all they did for our Mom. Wardene would not have had the quality of life without the help of these special angels. Due to the snow depth at the cemetery, a memorial service will be held in Durango at the Folsom Family Cemetery in the Spring.
