Warren Scates

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Warren Scates on March 19,2025.Warren was a beloved husband, dad, grandpa, brother, son in law and uncle.

Warren was born on October 23rd,1964 to Dulcinea Aragon and Fred Scates. He is survived by his loving wife Kathy of 44 years,sons Charles, Arthur and Josh, Grandchildren, Chris, Shannon, Kaylee, Jeremy, Desi, Jordan, Jacob and Jasmin, brothers Tommy Scates(Karen), Barney Scates, sisters Elsie Valenzuela (Lorenzo), Darlene Cordova (Carlos), mother in law Virginia Chavez, brother in law Reyes(Danielle), sister in law Carol Myers, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson Jesiah, brothers Larry Fuller, Johnny Scates, nephew Joseph Scates, father in law Reyes Valenzuela, brother in law Arthur Valenzuela and his special angel niece Rachanda Myers.

Warren worked for the city for many years. He was an excellent Mason, carpenter and Jack of all trades. Everything he did had to be perfect or not at all. He loved going to the casino, scratchers and spending time with his family. He would do anything for them and anyone in need. Warren was loved by many. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and John Wayne fan. Warren suffered for many years. Fly high now, no more pain and suffering. Until we meet again.
