Wayne Michael "Mike" Brown

Wayne Michael “Mike” Brown passed away March 11, 2022, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.  He was born in Maryland on February 22, 1949, to Emily and Harry Brown.  Mike enlisted in the US Air Force, where he completed two tours of duty in Viet Nam.  After an honorable discharge, Mike struggled with sobriety, but with the help of his late wife, Louise, he was able to become sober and acquired the education and certification for a Substance Abuse Counselor.  He dedicated the remaining part of his life to helping others with their sobriety struggles.  He was a member of the VFW #401, where he served as a leader and officer.  He was compassionate and caring to everyone.

He is survived by his current wife of seven years, Patricia Tomhave-Brown.

All that really knew Mike appreciated him and he will be terribly missed, especially by Pat.

Services will begin with Recitation of the Rosary, 11:00 AM, May 2, 2022. Mass will immediately follow, St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1001 Meteor Ave NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144.  A memorial reception will be held at the VFW on June 11, 2022, from noon until 3:00 PM.
