Wayne Edward George, 80, of Bloomfield died on March 31, 2011. He was born in Bloomington, Indiana. We are saddened by our loss, but rejoice knowing that the Lord Jesus Christ called him home. He will be missed by his loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his son’s Daniel and William and his daughter Diana, his parents, Jesse and Pearl George, and his brother, Kenneth George. He is survived by the love of his life, Frances, for 61 glorious and happy years, and his surviving children, Steve (Rita), Frank (Linda), Debbie (Terry), Darla (Chuck) and Wayne (Maira), his 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great grandchildren, other family, friends and his three dogs. Wayne moved from Bloomington in 1971 and worked at a job he loved: Bloomfield High School Maintenance Department for 16 years. He loved working football games, wrestling matches, and basketball games. He loved to fish and set trout lines, which he taught us all. He loved to go camping with the family, which was one of the highlights of his life. He enjoyed tinkering in his shed, welding, fixing things, he liked to junk for copper, and enjoyed working around his home. He served in the Army and was proud of this honor. He stated in his last days that his loving wife, Frances, has always been the love of his life. Wayne will be greatly missed, but he has provided us with what it is to be loving, compassionate, and caring to all people. Although, you are greatly missed we will be looking forward to seeing you in heaven with Jesus. God bless you, Wayne, for your wonderful caring, and loving teachings that you have provided for so many members of your family. Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute Street, Farmington.
