A 35 year resident of Rio Rancho, formerly of Los Angeles, passed away at his home Thursday, September 24, 2015 at age 77. Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne Moore; sons Troy Hope of Utah, Wayne J. Moore and Shane Moore of San Pedro, California and Stephen Styles and family of Buelton, California; grandchildren, Brandy Hope of Las Vegas, Nevada, Rory (Meagan) Moore, Daniel Moore, Andrew Ballantyne and Ivan Moore of San Pedro, California; siblings, Charles Moore of Berea, Kentucky, Beulah "Boots" Rosier of Richmond, Indiana and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas J. Moore and grandson Wayne Ivan Moore. Wayne was a Kentucky Colonel, an honorary commission given by the state of Kentucky to individuals noted for their public service and their work for the advancement of Kentucky. Wayne had a strong faith in the Lord, he taught in the children's ministry at Calvary Chapel. Wayne had a passion for music and spent most of his life in the music industry. He never met a stranger and was loved by many. Wayne will be missed dearly. Services will be held Friday October 2, 2015, 11am at Calvary Chapel of Rio Rancho located at 138 Frontage Rd NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. A celebration of life will follow, further information provided at the service.
