Wayne L. Redford, 83, of Farmington, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2009, due to complications from Diabetes in Farmington. He was born September 10, 1925 in Wyndott, Michigan to Ralph and Ruth Redford. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; his step-mother, Janet Redford of Wyndott, Michigan; his first wife, Elvira Redford; his son, Richard Hill; and two brothers, Donald and Paul Redford. He is survived by his wife, of 36 years, Janet Redford, of Farmington; sons, Jeffrey Hill and wife, Michelle of Stone Mountain, GA, and Randy Hill and wife, Rhonda of AR; and daughters, Jaci Kitch and husband, John of Nashville, TN, and Peggy Redford of Durango, CO. Also surviving are his daughter-in-law, Misaki Hill of Murfreesbouro, TN; two brothers Phil and wife, Charlene, and Aaron and wife, Audrey; 15 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Wayne attended Wyndott High School in Wyndott, Michigan, from which he graduated. He moved to New Mexico in 1996. He was employed for 40 years by Breuners Furniture Company. He also served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1947. He enjoyed playing golf, cribbage, poker, sports and loved to travel. He always had a good joke to share. Services for Wayne will be announced at a later date. Donations may be given to The Bonnie Dallas Senior Center of Farmington, 109 W.
