Wenceslao (Phil) Fernandez

FERNANDEZ- Wenceslao (Phil) Fernandez, age 89, beloved and devoted father, grandfather, and brother, joined his beloved wife of 60 years, Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Mr. Fernandez was born on September 28, 1919 in Cordova, NM to the late Juan Jose and Maria Louisa (Lucita) Fernandez, and was a life long resident of Santa Fe, NM, where he was a member of St. Anne's Parish. He was preceded in death by his wife Celine C. Fernandez in October 2008; and brothers, Apolonio Fernandez and Vitoriano Martinez. Mr. Fernandez is survived by his loving children, Mary Lou Lopez and husband Ed, Clara Vigil and husband Eliud, Michael Fernandez and wife Diane, Lilly Fernandez and Don Fernandez; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Delfinia Bourne; and numerous other family members and friends. Mr. Fernandez will be greatly missed by all. Serving as Pallbearers will be, Peter Vargas, David Vigil, Ed Lopez, Eliud Vigil, Cody Lobato, Lane Lopez and Joseph Dean.
