William R Atkins

William R. Atkins passed away Friday, October 4, 2019, peacefully with his wife Margaret by his side kissing and loving him. 

Our dad was one of the most compassionate caring giving and loving men in our lives.  Fortunately all of his seven children were able to come see him over the last 4 weeks while he was in the hospital.  During this time we were all able to tell him how amazing he was and convey to him the positive impact he had on our lives.  

Our dad was a fantastic grandfather who relished i treating his grandchildren to ice cream and making them all smile.  This summer we were blessed to have all the family (kids, spouses, grandkids, etc., 30 plus) come together to celebrate his 90th birthday and his and mom's 60th wedding anniversary. 

William is survived by his wife Margaret, Daughter Helen Kurtz (Bud) of Mesa, AZ, Son James Atkins (Anne) of Albuquerque, Daughter  Mary Williams (David)  of Tulsa, OK,Son Matt Atkins (Stephanie) of Gilbert, AZ, Son Mark Atkins (Valerie) of Albuquerque, Son John Atkins (Jody), of San Francisco, CA, Son Luke Atkins (Jennifer) of San Franciso, CA.  He had  17 grandchildren.
