A talented musical angel was sent to heaven on Tuesday, September 22 and is truly now a ‘Free Bird’. William Anthony Baros Jr. will now be singing and rejoicing with Jesus and our other family members that entered a life with Jesus prior. Bill was survived by his beautiful and precious daughter, Tamara O’Neill and her husband Richard O’Neill, as well as his loving parents, William and Dolores, his sister Rachel, brother Johnny, his wife Yvonne, and his nephews Johnny Jr., Joshua and Justin Baros. Bill also has several other family members and friends that he considered family. This Baros family will never be the same without Anthony, but they find comfort knowing he accepted Jesus Christ who will be waiting for him with open arms.
To share a glimpse of his life you must start with his love and passion for music. He loved the Beatles and lived for karaoke with his friends so he could share his beautiful voice with everyone. As a gifted musician, his guitar was never far behind. This gentle soul loved playing pool while joking around and picking on everyone. His witty sense of humor was always in motion and rarely would you see Anthony with a frown. He loved being his family’s Santa Claus and never missed a Christmas Eve celebration where he would engulf his car with gifts and thoughtful cards for everyone. Anthony loved to sit around the family table eating tamales and his momma’s red chili or her amazing tacos. As the self-proclaimed ‘favorite child’, he never missed an opportunity to tell his family that he loved them and would reminisce about all their special vacations. His one true joy in life was his baby girl, Tammy! He lived, bragged, and did anything he could to see his Tammy. This year, he watched Tammy get married in Ireland via Zoom. Although he could not make it to be with her in person, he was never prouder for her and Richard.
To Bill’s friends, thanks for loving him like he was a king (as he thought he was Elvis at times). He spoke of you all often and cherished your friendship and looked forward to celebrating his birthday with all of you as he reminded everyone of his special day. Every time you hear a Beatles song, smile as Bill is singing in heaven right along with you! For those that want to send a donation in lieu of flowers, please go to donate.savethemusic.org., an organization for his love of music.
Due to Covid-19, were taking extreme caution for his parents, the funeral will be small, and those few that your presence is requested, you will receive a text or phone call. All others, please respect our difficult decision as safety is paramount. We love you all and look forward to the day when we can meet face to face and share fun stories of Bill over a slice of millionaire pie.
