The gates of heaven opened on Friday, April 1st for God to take his new angel, William Anthony Baros Sr. (aka: Bill , Dad, Grandpa, Uncle Billy, and Honcho to name a few) to his forever resting place in heaven. We can only imagine the view of Jesus taking you by the hand and saying run to your boy Anthony and the many others who have been waiting for you to be free from all your ailments and join me in our eternal kingdom free to fish all day, honk that horn in your infamous yellow and white truck and eat whatever you want.
To have known Bill, a loving husband to Annie Dolores of 60 amazing years, a father to three children, Anthony, Johnny, and Rachel, daughter in-law Yvonne and grandfather to his four grandchildren, Tamara, Johnny Jr., Joshua and Justin. Not to forget his nieces, nephews and many friends that leaned on Bill as a father figure, is to have been blessed by a child of God.
Bill loved his darling Dolores who they called each other honey and babe. The love they shared was something movies are made of. He fought everyday, even to his last breath to sit by the love of his life and ensure she was the most beautiful lady around. Bill showed all men what love is all about and how to honor your marriage and be the most patient and loving parent and grandparent. From being the best hugger to his daughter Rachel to sharing his love of fishing and camping with his sons, to spoiling his grandchildren nonstop. We do smile and thank God for sharing him with us on earth as he and Dolores built a God loving family. Go Bill, be with your son Anthony, listen to some music by the Rolling Stones and the Beatles in heaven, have as many chocolate shakes as you want, watch some movies, play some chess and pinball as we find comfort knowing God has lifted you up and given you eternal life. Now we have more to look forward to when it is our turn to fly. Thanks husband, dad, and grandpa. You will be missed but never forgotten!
