William P Becker, (Bill) ( Grumpers)(Grandpa), passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at home with his family by his side.
Bill was born on February 20,1943 in Bronx, NY to William Becker and Catherine Costigan Becker.
Bill worked in the mortgage industry for over 40 years.  He was an Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. He was stationed at various bases over the years: Fort Huachuca in Arizona was his favorite. Bill loved anything regarding History. He particularly loved reading and watching movies and shows regarding  history of wars and railroads.

BILL ALWAYS WORE HIS COLORS PROUDLY!!!

Bill was a Fourth Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus.  He also proudly served Council 6696 as Grand Knight for one term: 1991-1992.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Deanna D Shaw-Becker; his
daughter, Katie Esterly (John Marciante),
stepchildren, Leslie Fox, Justin Shaw(Angela),
Shelby Kortz (Brian). Nine grandchildren, Kymbria
Fox (fiance Dominic Lopez), Zeke Fox, Carley Shaw,
Lilly Shaw, McKinley Shaw, Kaleigh Kortz, Kennedi
Kortz, Riley Esterly, Addison Esterly and great
granddaughter Violet Martinez as well as his furry
kids, Dixie, Molly, Roxie and Kitty Kat who are
already lost and missing him. All of his
grandchildren were the light of his life. He loved
listening to their stories and their jokes and
watching them grow and change every day. There
was never a dull moment with all of them. Each
grandchild had something different that made them
special. He loved his grandchildren and great
grandchild. He was very proud of all of them. All for
their own individual reason.
A memorial service is pending and will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday May 15, 2021 at Daniels Family Funeral Services 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE with Inurnment to follow at 11:30 at Sandia Memory Gardens. Reception to follow.
