Castillo, William Our beloved brother William Castillo, age 64 went home to be with the Lord. He was a life long resident of Albuquerque and on Monday, March 31, 2014, he passed away. William served his country and was a proud Marine. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and the recipient of the Navy Cross for extraordinary heroism while serving as an Ammunition Man with Company E, Second Battalion, Fourth Marines, Third Marine Division. William was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). William is predeceased by mother, Isabel Perea Castillo. William is survived by his sister: Edna Cisneros y Luna and husband Max Luna; sister Sara Atencio and husband Neil Atencio; baby sister Ruth Perea; brother Charles Castillo and wife Becky Castillo; brother Richard Castillo; brother Isidor Castillo; brother Eddie Max Castillo; brother Jerry Carter and childhood and beloved friends Eddie Garcia and wife Elena Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins, and many friends. William was loved and will be missed. William�s Life Celebration will begin with viewing at the Daniel�s Chapel on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 820 Broadway Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Pallbearers will be Eddie Garcia, Jerry Muniz, Richard Castillo, E.J. Garcia, Larry Michelback and Anthony Miera. Honorary Pallbearers are Louie Garcia, Rick Miera, Mike Garcia, Fred Sais and Speedy Baca.
