William Bernard Fisher

Fisher, William Bernard Age 82, passed away from this earth Tuesday, May 28, 2013. He is preceded in death by his wife Genevieve; son, John R. Fisher; stepson, Dirk N. Smith. William is survived by his daughter Kathryn M. Bisson of Colorado; stepchildren, Julia J. Harmon of Arizona, Glenn B. Smith of Maine and Genia L. Vigil of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was a 60 year resident of NW Albuquerque. William served 10 years in the Air Force and 30 years in civil service for the US Fish and Wildlife as a cartographer and realty specialist. He was active in the community as a Scoutmaster and with the Presbyterian Church for many years instilling the love of the outdoors and wildlife to many. He was passionate about his family, wildlife, aircraft and classic automobiles. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 12 noon at Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church, 1801 Montano Road NW. His ashes will be placed next to his angel, Genevieve, in the columbarium of the church. A potluck will be held after the service for his many friends and family.
