Fox, William
A true gentleman; avid fisherman, hunter and golfer; computer pioneer; and University of Oklahoma fan, Bill Fox passed away April 23, 2018. He leaves to mourn his wife Susan and Steven, Felix, Tim, Rendezvous and D’Apple as well as three grandchildren, several cousins, Susan’s family, and a multitude of fishing and hunting buddies and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, and a son and daughter.
He was retired from the BIA and also worked at Gardenschwartz Sports, AMREP and Wallen Builders.
He will be greatly missed. Bill’s father’s obituary read in part: “He was quite practiced in the art of telling a low golf score and could talk for hours and never say a bad word about anyone who didn’t deserve it.” That’s my Bill.
A celebration of his life will be held May 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at his residence. Many thanks to those who sat, drove, baked, cooked and otherwise helped us; Jeremy and Jillian who put their lives on hold to assist; and Melvin, Loretta and Kim from Heritage Hospice. Please send any desired donations to Heritage Hospice or the charity of your choice.
