William James Hudson

Hudson, William James Age 81, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012. William was a loving husband, father, step-father and friend. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn M. Hudson; step-son, Larry DeHaan; grandson, Alton DeHaan. He was born in Camden, NJ and raised in New York City. His foster father, Joseph was a Captain in the U.S. Marines and served during WWI. William enlisted in the Marines at the age of 18 and was a combat marine in the Korean Conflict. He was later promoted to Staff Sergeant. He spent most of his civilian life as a Marketing Associate traveling over most of the Midwest. In his retirement he served as a member and mentor on several AA groups. He was a good and loyal friend to all he met and he will be missed by friends and family. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
