Age 88, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 on what would have been his and Lois’ 64th wedding anniversary. He joins his beloved Loie who passed in September. He is survived by children, Ellen Light and Marc Wunder, Ronni Light, Joel Light and wife Barbara; grandchildren, Samantha Sullivan and husband Steve, Terry Wunder, Sara Greenstein and husband Jonathan, Joseph Light and fiancée Cassie, Ashley Light; great-grandchild, Robin Emma Greenstein.
Bill was a Veteran of WWII and was 100% disabled as a result of injury. He perceived himself as being very lucky to survive that horrendous injury and lead a charmed life. He was a real “good guy”, good natured, kind, funny, joyful, considerate. Everyone who knew him loved him. He will be missed.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 9, 2015 at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Gathering to follow at Fairwinds Apartments, 920 Riverview Drive SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
