William C. "Bill" Smith, age 55, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Albuquerque, NM. Bill was born on July 20, 1961 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Bill married his high school sweetheart, Anne in 1984, and graduated from Metro State College in Denver in 1985 with a civil engineering degree. Bill and Anne moved to Albuquerque in 1991 with their two sons, Alan and Mike.
Bill was influential in the development and construction of many projects in the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho area. Bill loved fishing and his favorite spot to fish was Onahu Creek in Colorado. He also enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos.
Bill is survived by his wife, Anne; his sons, Alan Smith, and Mike Smith; his father and mother, Carl and Annie Smith, and his sister, Wanda Marshall all of whom live in New Mexico.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 10:00 am at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
A reception will follow the service in the Wyoming Sun Room Reception Center.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kids Fishing Foundation, www.kidsfishingfoundation.com. or C.A.S.T. For Kids, www.castforkids.org.
