William Thomas "Willie" O'Brien

O'Brien, William Thomas "Willie" 40, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. He was born in Socorro, NM on May 10, 1973 to Francis and Sonja (Lucero) O'Brien and was a lifelong resident. William graduated from Socorro High School in 1991 and attended ITT Tech. He was a generous and a kind hearted person who could never say no to anyone. He was always willing to help. William worked since he was 16 with his "Dad & Mom", Red and Mary Pierce, in the Pest Control business. William was an avid New York Giants fan. He enjoyed fishing with his "Dad", Red, golfing with his best friend, Manny Pino, and he really enjoyed spending time with his many friends. He was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandmother, Romelia (Naranjo) Lucero; his paternal grandparents, John and Bertha (Muller) O'Brien. William is survived by his mother, Sonja (Lucero) O'Brien; his "Dad" & Mom", Red and Mary Pierce; his "Dad & Mom", Manuel and Berlinda Pino; his best friend, Manny Pino and his wife, Eunice; aunts, Rosalie Holder; Sandra Hayes; and Geraldine Minitrez and her husband, Rudy; many cousins, and the many wonderful friends that he made through out his life and work endeavors. The Holy Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 10:00 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro followed by the Mass of Resurrection at 10:30 am with Celebrant Father Andrew Pavlak. Interment will be held in the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Manuel Pino, Charles Gallegos, Ty Nash, Anil Bagri, Johnny Joe Naranjo, and Rudy Minitrez.
