Age 87, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017. He is survived by his son John H. Wallace II. Bill is preceded in death by his wife Trudy and his parents Ada and John Wallace and his son, Bill Jr.
Bill was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and raised in Raton, New Mexico where he graduated from High School. He was a telephone pioneer. Starting in 1947 from which he retired. He served in the US Air Force. He was a Past Master of Temple Lodge #6 AF & AM, and was active in the order of Eastern Star and was a Past Patron. He was a life member of United Methodist Church. Bill and Trudy enjoyed their winter home in Texas and they toured the country in their RV, attending square dances. They also were avid water and snow skiers, enjoying Elephant Butte Lake and the Colorado Rockies. Funeral services will be held, Monday September 25, 2017 at 2:00 pm, Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel.
