William Walter Weideman

WEIDEMAN- William W. Weideman, 81, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM passed away January 20, 2011. He is survived by his daughters, Marsha Jaramillo and husband Ken, Nancy Moore; grandchildren, Billie Smithey Cave and husband Josh, Andrew Smithey, Lindsay Moore, Kellie Moore, Stacy Moore, Seth Jaramillo; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Boyer; two nephews; one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Lydia Weideman. William married Helen Herron on October 1, 1949 in Scottsbluff, NE. He joined the United States Air Force in 1950 and was stationed in Biloxi, MS. He and Helen moved to Denver, CO in 1954 until transferring to Albuquerque, NM in July 1966. While in Albuquerque William was employed as a truck salesman for Timpte Trailers, Peterbilt Truck Sales, and Mack Truck Sales until retiring from Albuquerque Truck Equipment in October 2009. He loved to dance, golf and fish and was an avid football fan; following the Nebraska Cornhuskers to the end. He became a charter member of the Denver Broncos Quarterback Club in 1964. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2011 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE and Meadowlark Lane, Rio Rancho, NM. Interment will take place following the services at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE and Meadowlark Lark Lane, Rio Rancho, NM.
