Wilma Sue Garrett

Wilma Sue Garrett, 82, was called to rest on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. She was born on August 30, 1935 in Sheridan, AR to Elisha and Sally Mae (Bass) Bennett, the second of ten children. She married Codolious Garret, Sr. in 1972. Mrs. Garrett retired from the Motorola Corporation and from Foley's Department Store. She believed in hard word and making an honest living. She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan, AR and Albuquerque, NM. She was a faithful member of the Order of Eastern Star of Mt. Everett of Albuquerque since 1977.
　
Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son, Roger Tate. She is survived by Dennis Willingham and wife, Sherry, Michael Charles and companion, Sybil, and Codolious Garrett, all of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Symone Charles, Michael Charles, Desirae Shorter, and Wyshauna Nicolia; great-grandchildren, Matthew Willingham, Samantha Willingham and Angelina Nicolia; siblings, James Bennett, Velma Shy, Dorothy Warren, and Martha Williams.
　
Viewing and Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 608 Avenida Cesar Chavez SE, Albuquerque. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, also at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
