Wynona Jean Willis

Willis, Wynona J.
Age 83, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016. She was born in Amarillo, TX on September 25, 1933, to Nick Burton and Mabel Howard.  Wynona and her husband resided in Marina Del Ray, CA for 2 years, walking the beach and lunch watching the boats sail by at the channel. She loved attending operas, stage shows and musicians in Los Angels. She then moved back to New Mexico then loved touring the United States and camping and hunting with her husband in Idaho. She also loved her visit to Niagara Falls and her trip to England with her daughter Michele. When not traveling watching 1930's and 1940's movies was a must for her. She was preceded in death by her father, Nick Burton, mother, Mabel V. Howard, and brother, Gary Burton. Wynona is survived by husband, Roy Willis and daughter, Michele Finley and husband John.  Michele says of her mother, "She was the most precious, kind, caring, thoughtful and selfless mother anyone could ever hope to have. I love her more than I could ever put into words. I will miss her every moment of every day for the rest of my life." Visitation will be held at 9:00am at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel with a service to follow at 10:00am.  Interment will be held immediately after the service at Vista Verde Memorial Park - 4310 Sara Road SE Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
