Zachary Jonathan Hinojos

HINOJOS- Zachary Jonathan Hinojos passed away on March 31, 2011. Zachary was born in Denver, CO on September 6, 1960. He was raised in the mountains of Georgetown, CO where he moved to Pueblo, CO and attended the University of Southern Colorado. Zachary married his wife Merlene in 1984 and resided in Rio Rancho, NM in 1986. Currently he worked as the manager of Dwain’s Automotive for the past 8 years and had been working in the automotive business for over 30 years. He was an inspiration to many and if you knew Zachary you were in his inner circle. His passions consisted of family, friends, his church (The Greater Albuquerque Church of Christ), and his work. The work he did was selfless and he always put others first. He was a loving husband, a loving father, a loving son and a loving brother. He lived by his beliefs and led by example. He was a problem solver with his keen mechanical mind and he would patiently and methodically find a solution to everyday issues, a true prince among men. Having Zach in our lives was a blessing and we loved him. We will profoundly miss him and hope to see him again someday. He was an avid camper, enjoyed hiking and Bronco football, along with enjoying everyday tasks and projects Zach would create for himself at work or at home. Zachary left behind his wife, Merlene; two sons, Jonathan and Jordan; parents Bertram and Maria; six brothers and sisters, Andrew, Vincent, Dennis, Patricia, Rachel, and Cynthia; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Zachary was loved immensely and will be dearly missed. Memorial Service took place at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday April 3, 2011. Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Financial Credit Union for the Zachary Hinojos Memorial Fund.
