Age 88, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019. She was born in Canon, NM on September 13, 1930, to Delfin and Victoria Garcia.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Esquipula Garcia and daughters: Linda and Anita Garcia.

Carmelita is survived by loving daughter, Victoria I. Garcia; sister, Aurora Martinez; 3 dogs and 3 cats. She graduated from Bernalillo High School in 1948. Carmelita worked as a Nurse's Aid for 8 years. She enjoyed canning, going to the casino, listening to her favorite radio station 89.1 and loved talking to her sister, Aurora on the phone.

Carmelita will be greatly missed by her loving family and those whose lives she touched.
