Carrie Gutierrez

Carrie Gutierrez passed away peacefully in her home March 22, 2018, just shy of her 79th birthday. She was born April 6, 1939 to parents, Odis and Ruby Watts in the city of Soper Bluff of Oklahoma State.

She will be lovingly be remembered by her husband Flavio Gutierrez; children:  Debra McGee (Mark), Sandra Kuwahara (Jan), Carol Irenze, Elena McGee (James), Bernadette Hansen, (Eric), Marilyn Gutierrez, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her twin sister Clara Lerdahl.

The family was blessed to have a Mother with a beautiful smile and eyes that lit up as she welcomed them into her home.  

Carrie worked at Ben Franklin for over 10 years where she made many friendships that would last throughout her lifetime. In her retirement she kept busy gardening and working together on home projects with her husband.

Carrie had a strong belief in Christ and is finally at peace in heaven.

The family will celebrate Carrie’s life privately.
