Erica Michelle Downs

Erica M. Downs, age 38, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born September 9, 1982 in Abilene, TX to her parents Rex Downs and Phyllis Montoya.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rex Downs.

Erica is survived by her husband, Nick Trujillo; her two sons, JJ McNece and Chase Trujillo; her mother, Phyllis Montoya and stepfather, Felipe Montoya, Sr.; her sister, Sarah Fraser; brother, Joshua Downs; brother-in-law, Chris Fraser.

Erica's greatest joy was being a mother to her two sons.

A Private Service will be held in July.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to JDRF or any local dog rescue.
