Felix Gonzales

GONZALES - Felix, 73, Native New Mexican passed away on May 9, 2021. He is survived by his son, Estevan and wife Becca; daughter, Felicia Spicochi and husband John; sister Mabel Hendrickson and husband Ray; sister Angie Soto and husband Sam; sister-in-law Lillian Chavez and husband Orlando; sister-in-law Jimmie Gonzales; nephew Mark Martinez and wife Denise; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Gonzales; father, Jovan Gonzales; mother, Sylveria (Sylvia) Gonzales; brother, Harold Gonzales; brother, Albert Gonzales; brother, Lorenzo "LJ" Gonzales. 

Felix loved to spend time with his family either eating a meal together, going camping, fishing, or having a cold beer. He had a soft spot for all animals and was proud of all his grand "fur babies". Felix was a hard worker and an excellent provider - he worked at many different jobs and retired from the US Postal Service after over 30 years. One of his most endearing qualities was his generosity, he was always willing to help others when he saw they needed help and instilled that in his children. He loved his wife, Gloria very much and missed her greatly since she passed away in September of 2010. 

Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 18th at 10:00 AM at the Shrine of St. Bernadette at 11509 Indian School Rd. NE in Albuquerque. As a reminder, masks are required.
